nternal Structure of Mushroom Antenna
A mushroom antenna generally consists of four core internal components as follows:
- Antenna ElementAs the core component of the mushroom antenna, the antenna element receives and transmits wireless signals. It is usually made of metal, and its shape and structure determine the antenna’s operating characteristics and frequency response.
- RF ConnectorEach mushroom antenna is equipped with an RF connector to link the antenna with communication devices. Common types include SMA and RP-SMA. The specific connector type and interface standard are customized according to the matching antenna and equipment requirements.
- Antenna BaseA matching base is attached for mounting and fixing the antenna. The base can be metal or plastic, with customized shapes and structures to fit different application scenarios and installation demands.
- RadiatorSome mushroom antennas are built with an internal radiator to boost overall performance. It improves antenna gain and directivity, and enhances the efficiency of signal receiving and transmitting.
Note
The internal structure varies across different models and manufacturers. The specific components differ based on antenna design, frequency band and functional requirements. Before selection and application, please refer to official product specifications and manuals to learn about its internal composition and working principle.
